Monday Mystery Photo – Where in the World are We?

???????????????????????????????Where in the world can we be this week?

Can you guess? I know one of my blog readers will find this easy!

Last week we were at Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, at the Big Banana. This Australian tourist attraction is found on the east coast of Australia in an area renowned, of course, for growing bananas. The Big Banana is a national icon and something every Australian child who has been to Coffs Harbour, can tell you about. A small range of rides and displays are also found there, as well as a cafe, selling, you guessed it: Banana Smoothies and Banana flavoured treats.

Something to ponder about today.

About Forestwoodfolk

Scandinavian culture, literature and traditions are close to my heart, even though I am Australian. I have Scandinavian, Frisian and Prussian/Silesian ancestry and for that reason, I feel a connection with that part of the world. I am an avid Nordic Crime fiction reader, and enjoy photography, writing and a variety of cooking and crafts, and traditional decorative art forms. Politically aware and egalitarian by nature, I have a strong environmental bent.
