Monday Mystery Photo – Where in the World are We?

Mystery photo

Can you guess where this might be?

Last week our mystery photo was taken in Brisbane, Australia, correctly identified by Christopher at Something for Pok and Suz, at Life Goes on.

Brisbane, or Bris vegas….(yeh right, with one casino, but the term has stuck), is a city of around 2 million people, is also the fastest growing capital city in Australia. Brisbane is the capital city of the State of Queensland.  Not much more I can say about it really. Big city, with a nice artificial city beach, hot and humid in summer, within an hour’s drive of fantastic coastal natural beaches.

Each Monday, I post a mystery photo either from my location or from my travel photographic collection. Let me hear where you think it  might be.

Something to Ponder About.

About Forestwoodfolk

Scandinavian culture, literature and traditions are close to my heart, even though I am Australian. I have Scandinavian, Frisian and Prussian/Silesian ancestry and for that reason, I feel a connection with that part of the world. I am an avid Nordic Crime fiction reader, and enjoy photography, writing and a variety of cooking and crafts, and traditional decorative art forms. Politically aware and egalitarian by nature, I have a strong environmental bent.
