My entry this Monday’s for lensandpensbysally weekly Phoneography challenge -‘Black and White’. Below you will see the original photo.
The black and white makes it look historic, something from a bygone era, but this of course, depends entirely on the subject matter. Don’t you think? Something to ponder about.
Below is a reminder of the monthly schedule with themes for upcoming Phoneography Challenges at Lens and Pens by Sally:
1st Monday: Nature
2nd Monday: Macro
3rd Monday: Black and White
4th and 5th Mondays: Challenger’s Choice (Pick One: Abstraction, Architecture, Food Photography, Night Photography, Portraiture, Still Life, Street Photography, and Travel).

A philosophic Aussie writes here at StPA, one who will readily admit to loving Scandinavia. I'm interested in global politics and what drives us to be who we are. Scratch the surface and you'll find a practical Environmentalist with an egalitarian bent, trying to unleash a little creativity via the written word.
Scandinavian culture, literature and traditions are close to my heart, even though I'm Australian. Travel and courteous discussions greatly broaden the mind, so I travel if I can and am always up for a vigorous, respectful discussion. I'm an avid reader, a writer and I enjoy photography and crafts, particularly traditional art forms. I hope you'll find 'Something to Ponder About,' in my WordPress Community.

I like your composition, showing the solitude of the beach, and then we are drawn into the people in the background. Happy Phoneography Challenge.

I agree that both photos are lovely and the feel is different, depending on which you choose, B&W or color. I’m loving playing with different editing choices and seeing what comes out!

It sure is fun playing around with saturations and hues in editing programs. And quite time consuming.
