A philosophic Aussie writes here at StPA, one who will readily admit to loving Scandinavia. I'm interested in global politics and what drives us to be who we are. Scratch the surface and you'll find a practical Environmentalist with an egalitarian bent, trying to unleash a little creativity via the written word.
Scandinavian culture, literature and traditions are close to my heart, even though I'm Australian. Travel and courteous discussions greatly broaden the mind, so I travel if I can and am always up for a vigorous, respectful discussion. I'm an avid reader, I enjoy photography and craft, particularly traditional art forms. I hope you'll find 'Something to Ponder About,' in my WordPress Community.

A message I wish you could promulgate across the world, Amanda ! 😀
It can cost you your life in other ways as well. Some people waste so much time having to be right all the time that they never have a chance to learn anything. Life is about proving their point. That seems like a life lost as well. In the end, it doesn’t matter. That’s the mantra I use if I’m ever tempted to prove a point: It doesn’t matter. We have a lot more time for living. 🙂
Well said, Deb! I think I am overly concerned on some issues with what it right, and am trying really hard not to get stuck in proving my point. This video clearly demonstrates that the race is long and it is ultimately only with yourself, or else….the cost is immense!

Mine too: I particularly liked the world-weariness of the third wildebeest stepping in, and the on and on-ness of it all. 🙂
