Cape gooseberry

First fruit from my garden. It reminds me of being a child and playing in my Grandmother’s garden, where Gooseberry like this grew wild. The paper cases are a delight to pull apart and inside you will find a delicious berry.

    1. it is an effect on the camera phone. I tuned the image to darken it a little on several spots. It was actually lying on its side, but the background is so dark you can’t make it out and it looks like it is leviatating. I think most software programs or apps have “selective tuning”

I was totally bamboozled by camera apps and manipulating pictures until I did the snappy happy challenge (you can find it in my old posts if you want to check) as this really made me use them each week and I learnt so much. Moldiv is the app (free download on my smart phone) I used to stitch the photos together in a collage.

  4. I like nostalgia and your editing gives the photo a nostalgic feel. I have never had this fruit. I have now found out it comes from South America. It is important to cherish our precious memories and I am always touched when people decide to share them. Thank you, Amanda.
