Lens and Pens by Sally has a Phoneography  Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge:

Nature is the theme this week.

Bearded Dragon at Coolangatta Beach, Australia

Captured (only visually) on the Nexus 4. Slightly adjusted in Picasa.

Sally also has a link to tips on low key photography which I tried to integrate on the following photograph, previously posted here on this blog:

Cape gooseberry

Capturing nature on my smartphone is something I like to ponder about

  1. I forgot you shot it with a phone. I almost never take photos with a phone, but yes, phone camera is a point and shoot camera and it takes photos as jpg, and then you have options to edit them some more with filters, depending on the apps you have. P.S. I like your commenting prompt 🙂

    1. I tend to use the phone more and more, and those photos are easy to edit because it is there on the phone. Others I use an older camera so have to download the SD on the pc. Often there is a time lapse and I don’t always edit them. Thanks for the lovely reply, Paula
