Over at Sally’s Lens and Pens blog, she showcases some marvellous photos and inspirational tips each week with a rotating theme. I don’t get a chance to participate every week anymore, but I still like to catch up with her advice and links. If you would like to check it out, here is the link

I liked the contrast on this photo, I selected, as I feel that it told a story, or is that just wishful thinking? A Black and white format seemed so appropriate. Would you agree?

A philosophic Aussie writes here at StPA, one who will readily admit to loving Scandinavia. I'm interested in global politics and what drives us to be who we are. Scratch the surface and you'll find a practical Environmentalist with an egalitarian bent, trying to unleash a little creativity via the written word.
Scandinavian culture, literature and traditions are close to my heart, even though I'm Australian. Travel and courteous discussions greatly broaden the mind, so I travel if I can and am always up for a vigorous, respectful discussion. I'm an avid reader, I enjoy photography and craft, particularly traditional art forms. I hope you'll find 'Something to Ponder About,' in my WordPress Community.

Amanda, what a delightful and well captured image. The image works well in monochrome with its clarity and contrast. You’ve also managed to get her in action, which is not easy to do. The overall image is engaging for several reasons: the mystery of not being sure where she is, the sandy landscape as a clue, the background (are they clouds or mountains), and the figure herself. Well done. Happy Photo Challenge.
