Monday Mystery Photo – Last week South Korea

Each Monday, I post a mystery photo, or occasionally a mystery object. I encourage you to leave a comment if you think you might know where this week’s mystery photograph, is located, or what it is. If you guess correctly, I will link back to your blog the following week when the answer will be revealed. Guest submissions are very welcome. Drop me an email if you would like to submit a photography to Monday Mystery Photo.

Where would you find this structure?

Last week we were in South Korea at the double decker Bridge.

As Drake pointed out, in the comments last week, there are two bridges. Being a double-decker bridge, the second layer was built on top of the first bridge. Each layer has their own name.

Do you know what the names are? The beautiful rainbow fountain even has its own name.

Read more about the bridge/s here.

That shall give you something to ponder about.

      1. You sound like many older people. They find a smartphone too confusing but like wordpress it can be understood bit by bit. Start with wordpress on your phone? Wait..its not a smartphone. Scratch that idea.

      2. Amanda, I’ve never liked mobile phones, smart or not. I mean that they are fantastic things to use for essential or urgent contact but they’ve gone far beyond that now.

  1. The troll place the picture in Norway somewhere I think, The fjord and the steep mountain place it somwhere on coast in the western part of Norway most probably. But neither the troll itself nor the buildings are familiar to me, so that is as close as I can get 🙂

  2. I’ve no real idea as to where this photo was taken, other than it looks very Scandinavian. It’s almost certainly not Denmark, with mountains like that in the background, but Norway is a possibility.

  3. Hi again, Amanda. I just popped back because I just thought of another possible location for this photo. Troll myths are just as ‘rife’ in Iceland as they are in Norway, so I’m thinking it could be somewhere there. Anyway, I’ll offer Iceland as another suggestion because I know it’s mountainous there, too. (Can’t wait to get there on Tuesday!).

      1. I’ll go with Iceland, simply to be different! Everyone else is going for Norway, so why not? I’m hoping to see a troll or two next week, as well as a few elves.

      2. I’m hoping both of those places are on one of the ‘trips’ already booked. If not we intend to hire a car on other days and trot off on our own. Thanks Amanda.
