A philosophic Aussie writes here at StPA, one who will readily admit to loving Scandinavia. I'm interested in global politics and what drives us to be who we are. Scratch the surface and you'll find a practical Environmentalist with an egalitarian bent, trying to unleash a little creativity via the written word.
Scandinavian culture, literature and traditions are close to my heart, even though I'm Australian. Travel and courteous discussions greatly broaden the mind, so I travel if I can and am always up for a vigorous, respectful discussion. I'm an avid reader, I enjoy photography and craft, particularly traditional art forms. I hope you'll find 'Something to Ponder About,' in my WordPress Community.

Wish I could increase the size of some of these photos to see the details.. Especially the one of the old bridge. Great shots.
Usually your computer saves them at their original size even if you have shrunk them down. I usually post at 1000 dpi for the largest side. That gives the ability to click on them and enlarge to a large size. i like the collage effect of posting as a gallery and then just tell folks to click to enlarge.
They set them up as different sizes, but if you click on them, they show up the size you saved them as.. if you’ve chosen “original size” when you do your post.
I know. It takes awhile to figure it all out. Luckily, I had a friend who from the start helped me with all the technical stuff. I probably wouldn’t have a blog right now if it weren’t for him and he still reads every blog and points out my apostrophe errors! And more….
Which way?
– The way of adventure!!
Yes, of course, we could also go to a way we love and where we can relax. And that is really important to do at times. But what fills me with true excitement until everything in me vibrates with the expectation of it, that is when I try something new. Something hitherto-unknown. Something… which enlarges my world! 🙂 🙂 🙂
May all your roads lead only to wondrous destinations, dear Amanda! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Beautifully said, Elena. Trying new things can be exhilarating as you alluded to but sometimes for me and for those close to me they are really scary. It is a matter of striking a balance, at times, so that you can experience the excitement without the nerves taking over, (which sometimes mean it isn’t such a positive experience).
This is great post, I like it. Thanks for sharing the helpful information. Your writing is very good, I really use full this post. thank you very much for this post.

They seem to appear larger in a gallery setting, depending on how many up add to it!

Thanks, Judy. I actually save them to preserve the resolution now. But I didn’t know that when I started this blog all those years ago.

I have restored the original image Judy and added another for you. But it didn’t seem to add to the resolution??
