    1. -38 is certainly no joke at all. I agree Christa. Goodness is everywhere and we should all look more to observe and find it. It would benefit our souls immensely if we were to do that. To see the glass as half full rather than half empty

      1. Ah, the “cute” one 🙂 When I saw “living close to the sea”, I assumed, but was wrong. Took a quick look at your other contributions as well 🙂 All nice videos.

      1. My mind and soul been through plenty.. Fell madly in love at my age but he was not interested.. sold my house that’s been on the market and bought an appartment but have to find a place to stay for 10 months while the appartment is being built and store stuff.. Working in a resort where most people are earning Gov help money and spending days on the mountains lovely snowy slopes..While we work extra hours because they employed 1 less person.. Personally at my age I don’t want the overtime pay.. I like the days off.. 😉 A lifestyle choice.. 😉 I feel ecstatic everyday because waking up with a smile is a choice but not always felt in the depths of the soul if that makes sense. It’s covid, 18h00 curfew and this estranged life that gets to you even tho you fight it every day.. You didn’t expect that book above.. 😉 Take Care.. I hope you ok.. 😉

      2. No I didn’t expect the book but a book is very welcome. It is good to know more about what is happening over your way and it sounds like there is plenty happening, even in the midst of Covid times and curfews. That must be difficult when it goes on and on. Every day I count my blessings I live here even though I love love Europe!
        What a roller-coaster ride you have been on. So your Government helps subsidize the tourist jobs too? And tries to make everyone work extra. Typical and that is what is happening in my daughters hotel as well. I would not want to do overtime either and would be happier walking or skiing the slopes. How wonderful that you can relax and de-stress doing that! Waking up with a smile is chosen, but it doesn’t stop the pain inside. That takes time, routine, management of expectations attitude and processing whatever the issue is, in your own time. A broken heart takes time to mend.
        As for selling a house and moving – that is never easy. I wrote about it lots and have only done it once! Buyers stuff you around, don’t they? Or was yours a straightforward transaction?

      3. The buyer is a young yuppie twit but obviously more business sense than me.. ;-).. He has done a thorough process but it has gone on 3 months more than it was supposed too.. We were told there was a verbal yes to his loan but still no paper work but I must jump now everytime he wants something.. No more untill I see the loan on paper.. 😉 I am relieved it is finally going through.. A huge win.. 😉

      4. It is a frequent complaint by sellers that buyers do this, hoping to get them extra time or a lower price. In the meantime, one loses other potential buyers. When we sold our house, the real estate continued to market it after the offer was made and whilst the buyer was checking all the conditions of the contract. However, they told the folks looking at it that there was a contract with clauses in existence, which put people off taking it seriously. And why would they? I wouldn’t take seriously a house that might already be sold.
        It is a relief when all this stuffing around is over. I can hear that you feel this way too, by your comment!
