Write a poem inspired by the first thing you hear (lyrics to a song, a commercial, etc.) A Mother's Lament examines the difficulties many military families face: the re-adjustment phase of Veterans returning to normal life, after the horrors of armed conflict, and trying to deal with PTSD.
