The Middle of Middle Earth – New Zealand

Windy Wellington is what they call it, for good reason. Although a stunning day was served up for our afternoon arrival, the evening and next day had weather forecasts predicting 130km/hr winds northerly gale. Well, Wellington is the only capital city located in the 'Roaring Forties', so it is hardly surprising.

The Rosemaling fabric arrived from Spoonflower super quick, I was very impressed! The design size and clarity is amazing. I love the colors too, very vivid!

I love the Traditional Norwegian Telemark Rosemaling design. My living room/dining room/kitchen are all in Scandinavian motifs, with blue, black, and white as the focal colours. I have various Norwegian and Swedish rosemaling patterns, as well as other Scandinavian objects, decorating the above rooms. This is one more piece to finishing the look. This pattern is truly lovely and perfect in the overall look of the above rooms.

Love the wraparound graphics of the Telemark artwork! Gives your items a very up-to-date feel. My Dad was a master rosemaler, so I really appreciate a great job!
