A philosophic Aussie writes here at StPA, one who will readily admit to loving Scandinavia. I'm interested in global politics and what drives us to be who we are. Scratch the surface and you'll find a practical Environmentalist with an egalitarian bent, trying to unleash a little creativity via the written word.
Scandinavian culture, literature and traditions are close to my heart, even though I'm Australian. Travel and courteous discussions greatly broaden the mind, so I travel if I can and am always up for a vigorous, respectful discussion. I'm an avid reader, I enjoy photography and craft, particularly traditional art forms. I hope you'll find 'Something to Ponder About,' in my WordPress Community.

I might suggest editing the trees, Then the drama of the sky and that one area of hope will be emphasized. Happy Photo Challenge.

So I assume you mean to darken the area of trees, Sally?

Actually, I meant to take them out, and then you have the entire sky with its drama. See if that works for you to focus the melodrama of the sky. It may or may not work for you.

Interesting clouds. It is always fun to play with the editing just to see what you like and if it brings out what you want. 😀

I might have a play around with this image later and see if it can be improved. Great ideas from the other commenters.

The rent in the clouds could let in so many things, depending upon our imagination. I agree with Sally. Taking the trees out gives the photo more of a focus (so to speak) and you might trying playing with editing as well, even just a frame.

I could crop the trees out altogether??

Try it and see how it looks. You can always go back to the original or make a copy and work on that.

Thanks so much for the constructive criticism, Janet. A frame is also a good hint to define it better.
